Individuals can help support the work in the community that the
Blair County Community Action Agency (BCCAA) is involved with.
BCCAA is incorporated as a 501(c) [3] organization, as defined
by the IRS, and is therefore eligible to receive tax-deductible
contributions.
Contributions
can be made to BCCAA in several ways.
1. Gifts
– Persons can help through tax-deductible cash contributions.
Some of our programs have expenses that are not covered by grant
funds. Your contributions can help offset these costs and help
us to continue to serve the low-income residents of Blair County.
If wish to
send us a gift make your check payable to “Blair County
Community Action” and mail your check to:
Blair County Community Action
2100 6th Avenue
Altoona PA 16602
2. Donations
- Persons can help through tax-deductible donations of property.
Some of the individuals that we serve are in dire need of furniture,
a car or other items. Your donation of these kinds of items could
mean a lot to a low-income family. If you are considering a contribution
such as this please call us at 946-3651 so that we can discuss
the details with you.
3. Volunteers
- Interested individuals can volunteer their time to assist in
various BCCAA programs and activities. If you are interested in
being a part of the “action” in your community call
us at 946-3651 and ask how you can help as a volunteer.
