Our goal is to place individuals into employment opportunities. We offer two programs (employment counseling services and the supported work program) that provide individuals with the necessary skills to obtain and retain employment through:

Job readiness workshop with emphasis on individual appearance, attitude, attendance and performance
employment aptitude and assessment
Referrals with other agencies
Job placement
Job coaching/assistance
Job counseling/follow-up
info on tax credits

Employment counseling services clients:

Have various levels of education and experience
Can participate in advanced employment workshops related to field of interest
Are screened and assessed to match market demands
Are referred to area employers
Have access to all Employment & Training Services supported work program
individual orientation, screening, testing and assessment

Clients enroll in workshop sessions to enhance their skills in the areas of:

Job readiness
Interviewing techniques
Resume writing
Job search
Job placement
Job coaching/assistance
Follow-up for 90 days
Access to all Employment & Training Services
